    Awesome, you want to get ink done. At Permanent Record Ink, we value personal contact. Therefore we will give no agreements or even prices over the phone or by mail. The available booking form is to guarantee an appointment. Please fill out the form as completely as possible. We will respond much faster if you do. Kudos to you if you provide a few days and times for your schedule!

  • Policies

    We specialize in the genre of Horror, that means there are a few styles of tattoos we do not do:
    • We do not do gang tattoos;
    • We do not do hate symbols.

    We will also refuse service if the following conditions arise:
    • When you are drunk;
    • Otherwise impaired.

    We also value the quality (over quantity) when it comes to our tattoos. Doesn't mean however that it should cost you an arm and a leg. There are no flat rates when it comes to personalized tattoos as sizing, complexity and even it's location can play a factor in its pricing. This will be discussed in the first consultation appointment.


    Appointment process

    While we do take walk-ins when the time is available, appointments are best. There are several ways one can do this. You could call us and see what is available then, use the booking form or contact the artist through their profile page.
    The booking form will be emailed directly to the shop.

    Another way is to stop by the shop! We love meeting new faces, talking about tattoo idea and catch up with returning clients.

    Please keep in mind: You don't need a finished idea, completed drawing or a montage of pictures. Just a rough idea of what you want to get. We will work together with you to come up with the tattoo design you want. This is included in the first appointment, the consultation.

    Once we have a solid concept that we can then design we will set up your appointment. Depending on the design, which artist you've picked, your availability, your appointment might be for a few days later, or up to a few months. Just remember to be patient!

    FAQ's

    What should I do to prepare myself for a tattoo?
    Above all else, just relax and try not to stress out. There is no point in avoiding this but depending on where the tattoo goes it can hurt. But remember that any pain is temporary and a tattoo is forever.

    What should I wear?
    Again, it depends on the size and location of your tattoo. You may end up sitting in the same position for hours so dress comfortably. It can also happen that you will need to wear clothing that doesn't block the area where the tattoo is going and depending on where it is it is also possible that you will have to remove clothing so the artists can get to the location. We will try our best to help you relax throughout the duration.

    What should I eat?
    In many ways, it's like getting a minor medical procedure but we advise you to consume plenty of high protein foods before your tattoo. Just to prepare your body for what it's about to go through.

    What not to take:
    • Drinking lots of coffee;
    • Do not take aspirins;
    • Avoid alcohol (up to 48h before) and blood-thinning medication.

    What to take:
    • Drink lots of water the day before and before your session.
